Abstract:Using RAPD molecular markers, the genetic diversity of 3 provenance of Taiwania flousiana has been studied in this paper based on 11 polymorphic random primers screened. The results show that Taiwania flousiana natural population has rich genetic diversity with average gene diversity for being 0 419 2, but, the difference is significant among 3 provenances and 19.5% of genetic variation exists among the provenances. The study will provide theory basis for effective conservation and reasonable utilization of germ plasma resource of Taiwania flousiana in the future through genetic diversity within species of Taiwania flousiana.
