Abstract:In this study, measurement on nutrimental composition and apparent rate for nutrimental matter have been carried out to purified diet for Cervus nippon Temminck in Dalian forest zoo during late stage of pregnancy by use of chemical analysis and partial dung collection methods. The results show that purified diet from Dalian, there contain 95.71% of dry mass (DM), 22.88% of crude protein (CP), 5.37% of essential ester (EE), 4.16% of crude fiber(CF), 56.21% of non-nitrogen's extract (NFE), 7.09% of crude ash,1.57% of calcium and 17.74 mJ/kg of general energy (GE); dry mass intake by female deer per day is 1.26 kg, apparent digestive rates for DM,CP,CF,Ca and GE are 74.26%,74.26%,82.74%,69.38%,79.41% and 78.25% respectively. The main nutritional composition, daily intake of dry mass are all higher together with higher digestive rate of nutrimental mass, which can meet nutrimental requirement under special environment in the zoo for female deer of Cervus nippon Temminck during late stage of pregnancy.
