Abstract:Abstracts: In the Bursaphelenchus xylophilus affected areas, The authors used motorized knapsack sprayer to spray 1% Thiacloprid microencapsulated granule to control the population density of Monochamus alternatus and curb the spread of pine wood nematode disease. It has effectively overcome the manage difficulty and the long emergence of Monochamus alternatus and achieved a good control result. The control efficacy kept above 75% and lasted for 30 days after application. The pesticide could keep killing the continuously emerged individuals because of its long duration of pharmaceutical efficacy.
