Abstract:Abstracts:In order to study variation of tree and soil carbon storage of continuous popular plantation, and understand the carbon sink capacity of popular plantation, the tree biomass and carbon storage, soil carbon content and storage of first and second generation popular plantation were measured in Jianghan Plain by authors. The results indicated that tree carbon storage of first and second generation popular plantation were 30.83 t/hm2 and 24.63 t/hm2, soil carbon storage (0~20 cm) were 39.29 t/hm2 and 29.09 t/hm2. The total carbon storage of second generation popular plantation decrease 23.39%,compared with first generation popular plantation. There was significant positive correlation between soil carbon storage and available K, phosphataese, urease and sucrase. And the soil carbon storage was high significantly positive correlated with total N and available N.
