Abstract:Abstracts:In order to promote survival and multiplying of the endemic species Buxus ichangensis in Three Gorges Reservoir,that is tested on its introduction and cultivation, included comprehensive analysis and evaluation of biological characteristics,soil texture of introduced area, cold resistance, growth, diseases and insect, regional adaptability,the early result showed that Buxus ichangensis grew normally in Three Gorges Botanical Gardern of Yichang City,the average seedling height of 4 year old was 41.0 cm, the average basal diameter was 1.7 cm,the crown width was 29.0 cm2 that have been flowering and fruiting.it could be observation experiment further for basis of endemic Plant Ex Situ Conservation in Three Gorges Reservoir.
