Discussion on Reasonable Protection and Utilization of Forest Resources in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture of Hunan

摘要：通过深入分析湘西自治州森林资源保护现状和森林资源管理中存在的问题与不足，提出转变保护观念，节约、珍惜森林资源等保护森林资源的高效措施。建议充分利用灌木、藤条及萌生枝条，野生非木植物等资源来发展当地特色经济。

Abstracts:The authors analyzed deeply existing situation of forest resources in Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture of Hunan, explored the problems and shortcomings in the area of forest resources management, and then studied efficient measures for the protection of forest resources, such as concept of protection changes, forestry conservation. By the study, the authors recommend that Xiangxi Autonomous Prefecture made full use of shrubs, cane, and sprouted branches, and used of wild non-wood plants, developed the local characteristics economy.
