Abstract:Abstract:The genetic analysis of the germ plasm of Camellia oleifera from hubei province based on SSR marker has been done in this study. The result showed that the relatively rich genetic diversity existed in 86 germ plasms of Camellia oleifera revealed by 10 different SSR loci, and the average observed number of alleles was 4.9, the average effective number of alleles was 3.2, the average shannon's information index was 1.13, the average heterozygosity was 0.25. The result of cluster analysis of 36 varieties indicated that the varieties from same area had a closer relationship than those from other areas, and difference existed between different varieties and the SSR marker could be used for species identification. The effect that sampling size influenced the genetic parameters showed that the effective number of alleles(Ne)and genetic diversity (h)of Camellia oleifera from hubei province were critically affected by the number of sampled individuals, and when the number of samples reached 50, the Ne and h would appear stable values.
