Improved Variety Selection of ZiLin No.1 Walnut

摘要：为选择适合宜昌地区发展的核桃早实品种，本研究组自1992～2004年，从全国各地引进早实核桃良种进行筛选，经过对参试品种生长量测定、物候期观察、坚果品质测定及抗病性、抗寒性调查，确认云新一号为宜昌地区表现最好的早实品种，2012年湖北省林木品种审定委员会将该品种认定为良种并命名为“秭林一号”核桃。

Abstracts:In order to select precocious walnut cultivars suitable for Yichang area, the study group imported Precocious Walnut Cultivars were screening all over the country, the tested varieties of growth determination, phenological observation, nut quality determination and disease resistance, cold hardiness survey confirmed that “yunxin No.1”was the best Precocious Walnut Cultivars inYichang area from 1992 to 2004.then in 2012,the hubei provincial forest and variety approval committee was regarded as improved variety and was named “zilin No.1” walnut.
