Introduction on Resources of Catalpa in Hubei Jianghan Plain

摘要：本文对湖北省江汉平原近3年来新引进的各类楸树资源进行了简单介绍，资源保存林中收集保存了489份不同楸树种质，营建的各种品比试验林包含203个不同类型的无性系，共有692份不同的楸树资源。根据不同楸树资源的早期引种表现，表明在江汉平原这个北亚热带平原，滇楸比适应暖温带的楸树更有选育和推广价值。这些楸树种质的引进，不但提高了江汉平原生态稳定性，丰富了湖北工业用材原料林树种资源，而且为江汉平原进一步选择适生楸树新品种奠定了良好的物质基础。

Abstracts:The newly introduced resources of Catalpa in Jianghan Plain in recent 3 years were presented in this paper. There were totally 692 different Catalpa resources,in which 489 germplasms were collected in resource conservation forest and 203 different clones were contained in various variety tests. A ccording to the early representation of Catalparesources,Catalpa fargesii f. duclouxii in the Jianghan Plain that located in the subtropical zone was with better value of breeding and popularization than Catalpa which adapted to temperate zone.The introduction of these germplasms of Catalpawould not only increase the ecological stability of the Jianghan Plain and enrich the tree species of industrial raw material forest in Hubei Province, but also provide a good foundation for further options of new varieties of Catalpa in Jianghan Plain.
