Abstract:Abstracts:Through observing phonological period features and counting basal diameter, tree height, crown diameter, heat resistance, cold resistance and seed germination rate of 6 varieties of Aceraceae which were introduced and cultivated in Wuhan area, we studied their adaptability in this area. The results showed that five varieties including Acer wilsonii, Acer truncatum, Acer fabri, Acer oblongum, Acer griseum grew fast, and had fewer diseases and pests, and had high rate of seed propagation and mature seedling, and were suitable for cultivation in wuhan area; However, Dipteronia sinensis was not suitable for cultivation in wuhan area due to its poor heat resistance.
