Abstract:Abstracts:In order to study the effect of cuttings inclusion of Lycium barbarum which were winter stored and find out a appropriate period for collecting its cuttings and provide the theoretical basis for cutting propagation of Lycium barbarum,we set up an experiment on the determination of eight different kinds of inclusion indicators such as soluble sugar, starch, soluble protein, free proline, peroxidase (POD),polyphenol oxidase (PPO),indole acetic acid oxidase (IAAO),and tannin in the cuttings treated by the methods of on tree storage and winter storing. The results showed that winter storing treatment could strongly reduced the content of free proline, soluble sugar, starch and protein and the activity of POD,PPO,IAAO and other enzymes, while increased the tannin content, which means winter storing would reduce the survival rate of cuttings and the length of its new shoot. In contrast,on tree storage was beneficial to the cuttings survival and the rapid growth of new shoots. This revealed that the more suitable period for collecting is in the spring before germinating.
