Abstract:Abstract:Pinus tabulaeformis is the main afforestation species in China, and the demand for the seedlings is very high.We used its seeds as material to study the effects of different storage time. By conventional forced germination methods the experiment compare the change of germination and enzyme activity of its seeds through different storage time. The results showed that the germination rate and germination potential of its seeds through one year and two year storage time were the highest, which were 89.8% and 49.7% respectively. With the extension of the seed’s storage time, seed aged seriously, and through the short time storage its seeds had the lowest content of malondialdehyde (MDA), which was 177 nmol·mg-1,and the highest peroxidase enzyme activity which was 527.3 U·g-1FW.
