Abstract:

Lagerstroemia indica has good ornamental values and the ability to purify air, which gains widespread populari- ty among people . cultivar breeding, seedling production, cultivation of Lagerstroemia indica are mainly summarized and in- troduced, as well as the related research on plant physiology and conservation in the gardening practice . The future re- search trends about Lagerstroemia indica are prospected. It can provide references for future research on Lagerstroemia indica in landscape ecology, genetic breeding, rural and urban beautification and gardening cultivation practice .
