Abstract:Abstract: In order to explore the occurrence law of Monochamus alternatus at different altitudes, to provide theoretical basis and guidance for the control of pine wood nematode disease. From 2019 to 2020, the occurrence law of M. alternatus was observed and studied by setting up experimental sites at different altitudes. The results show that the number of M. alternatus is the largest at altitude of 500 to 800 meters, at altitude of more than 800 meters is the least. In the whole sample tree, except the stump, there are M. alternatus in other parts, the number distribution of M. alternatus on the killed trees was middle section > lower section > upper section > lateral branch. The control of M. alternatus from May to July is a key period for controlling the population density.
