Abstract:The species composition, distribution and origin information of exotic tree species were analyzed via relevant literature and field surveys. The invasion risk of exotic tree species was classified and evaluated according to the method of Technical codes for invasion risk assessment of exotic tree species to natural ecosystem. The results showed that: ①A total of 74 exotic tree species were identified, which belonged to 53 genera and 31 families. The most common families represented were Leguminosae with 15 species, followed by Pinaceae with 14 species. 49 species of tree were found, accounting 66.22% of the total, shrub with 22 species (29.73%) and woody vines with 3 species (4.05%). ②Exotic tree species were found in all over the province, among which 61 species were found in Wuhan City, followed by 36 species in Yichang City. ③Literature records showed that 35 species originated from North America, accounting for 47.30% of the total, followed by Asia with 17 species, accounting for 22.97%. ④The evaluation results of invasion risk level showed that 62 species were rated as low risk, 12 species were rated as medium risk, and no species were found as high risk.
