In this experiment , the new and old mature seedlings of cymbidium sinense 6chaozhousuhe》were selected as the mother seedlings , and the comparative cultivation experiments were conducted in the phytotron and the greenhouse re- spectively. After two months of cultivation , the results showed that the temperature difference between day and night and the high-light intensity were conducive to the differentiation of leaf buds and new roots of 6chaozhousuhe》in the phyto- tron among the main climate indicators , and the leaf buds proliferation , new roots proliferation and leaf nutrient content of the new and old seedlings in the phytotron were significantly better than those of the greenhouse . The multiplication rate of new leaf buds cultivated in the phytotron were 2. 0 times and 1. 4 times of that in the greenhouse respectively, the multiplication rate of new new roots cultivated in the phytotron were 3. 7times and 2. 0times of that in the greenhouse re- spectively. The Duncan method was used for significance analysis and comparison , and it was found that the relative value of chlorophyll content and nitrogen content in the phytotron were significantly higher than those in the greenhouse (p< 0. 05) . Therefore , this experiment provided a new direction for the research of efficient cultivation technology of cymbid- ium sinense in the phytotron , and provides technical support for the highly efficient cultivation of high—value cymbidium sinense in the future .
