Abstract:peat-swamp wetlands are very important terrestrial carbon reservoirs on Earth and are very sensitive to envi- ronmental change . Human exploitation and use of peat-swamp wetlands has had a profound impact on their carbon dynam- ics , an issue that has attracted widespread global attention . the impacts of climate change, wildfire burning, altered hydro- logical conditions and seasonal freezing and thawing on the carbon cycle of peat-swamp wetlands at home and abroad, and proposes future research perspectives on peat-swamp wetlands in response to current problems in their research content and methodology are reviewed in this paper .
