Abstract:In order to improve the yield of Pinus elliottii seed orchard, the first generation of degraded Pinus elliottii clone seed orchard in Pengchang Forest Farm, Jingmen City was used as the research object to investigate its growth status and fruiting traits, analyze the differences in growth and fruiting traits among different clones, and select high fruiting clones. The results showed that there were extremely significant differences in diameter at breast height, crown width, cone length, cone diameter, cone diameter height, total yield of cones per plant, and single fresh fruit weight among different clones (sg<0.01), while the difference in seed yield per fruit was not significant (sg=0.366); Selecting the top three high yielding clones, the seed yield has increased by more than twice compared to the average; Based on the conclusion of differential analysis, it provides direction for the preliminary screening of excellent clones at present.
