Abstract:In order to scientifically evaluate the yield and resistance performance of Camellia oleifera bases in the central region of wuling mountain, focused on five Camellia oleifera bases in Laifeng County as research samples. The rate of superior seedlings, incidence rate, and severity of diseases and pests were investigated, and the fresh fruit yield was measured and analyzed. The results showed that the average yield per plant and per unit area of superior seedling Camellia oleifera were higher than non-superior seedling Camellia oleifera.Among them, ‘Changlin 53' clone exhibited the best performance as a superior seedling, with a theoretical yield of 82.14 kg.A higher rate of superior seedlings significantly increased the fresh fruit yield of Camellia oleifera. The average per unit area yield in the experiment plot with a high rate of superior seedlings was 59.5 times that of the experiment plot with a low rate of superior seedlings(Experiment 1 vs.Experiment 4).A higher rate of superior seedlings also significantly reduced the incidence rate and severity of diseases, providing recommendations for Camellia oleifera cultivation and research in the Wuling Mountain area.
